Cathy R. Moore, Esq., Attorney
Ms. Moore concentrates on chemical patent preparation and prosecution, with over 20 years of experience. Ms. Moore also provides counseling on a wide range of intellectual property issues, including ex parte reexaminations, patent infringement, patent validity and trademarks. Ms. Moore has counseled clients engaged in a variety of technologies, including polymeric films and laminates, textiles, food additives, cellulosics and various chemical processes.
Ms. Moore received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina in 1998. Ms. Moore received both a Master of Science in Textile Chemistry (1991) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (1986) from Clemson University.
Ms. Moore began her career in the Charlotte NC office of Alston & Bird, LLP, practicing for 5 years in the Chemical Patent Group. Prior to entering law school, Ms. Moore was an R&D Engineer with Hoechst Diafoil Corporation, manufacturer of polyester films, for about 4 years. She has telecommuted from Houston, Texas for the last 8 years.
Ms. Moore is admitted to practice in North Carolina (1999) and South Carolina (1998). She is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (2000).
